NJBA Winter Meeting - 2 Day Seminar

Several Northwesters will be Supporting the NJBA Booth at the annual NJ Garden Show.  The NJBA has a Signup Page for those who want to work the show

Booth at the annual Earth Day presentations for Hunterdon County at Echo hill park. In addition to this outreach NWNJBA did a number of satellite presentations throughout earth week.

Multi day beekeeping booth and public outreach presentations.  Also both fairs have a honey show and live beekeeping demonstrations.

NWNJB Exec Meeting
The NWNJBA Executive board meets on the first Thursday of every month. Venues vary but the typical location is at the 4-H center near the Route 12 Hunterdon County Library Complex.

NWNJBA Holiday Meeting. Come and join the close of the 2016 Beekeeping season.  The event will be a Potluck Supper and the election of the 2017 officers. The meeting will begin and 1:00 and will close down by 4pm.

Speaker Kevin Inglin had a chance to do some behind the scenes beekeeping in Italy. He'll presenting on his adventure and what he learned, showing lots of photos and videos along the way.  Black Jar honey tasting contest.

The meeting feature will be Bee Friendly Plants and methods of Queen Rearing. In addition we'll we'll also take any questions that you might have and set you up for summer management.

Double Queen Systems, what are they and why you might want to try one. Live demonstration of making lip balm with beeswax (everyone goes home with one) and Honey Tasting.
