Important! Please note that the GPS addresses we gave were tested wtih Google Maps but are subject to change and will provide different results depending upon what kind of GPS you use. We've given addresses that we've found are as close as we can get to getting you where you are going. Please read any accompanying directions and/or contact someone prior to the meeting for any directions you might need if these are unclear for you.
Direction Locations are listed in Aphabetical Order by name of the meeting site.
From the Flemington Area:
- Take Route 31 north approximately 8 miles to Allerton Road EAST on your right.
- Turn right onto Allerton Road East and proceed the Valley Crest Farm on your left. Continue until the T intersection with Valley Crest Road.
- Turn left on Valley Crest Road and proceed 5/10ths of a mile to the mentoring yard field on your right.
Directions from the Clinton Area:
- Take Route 31 south about 2 miles from Interstate 78 to Allerton Road East./.
- Take the jug handle and proceed on Allerton Road East until the road ends at Valley Crest..
- Turn left on Valley Crest Road and proceed 5/10ths of a mile to the mentoring yard field on your right.
Note: Don't Forget a lawn chair if you want one.for the mentoring yard.
From the Flemington Area:
- Take Route 31 north 3.7 miles from the Flemington Circle.
- Make a right onto West Woodschurch Road.
Once on West Woodschurch follow the appropriate option below*.
Deer path Directions from the Clinton Area:
- Take Route 31 south about 6.3 miles from Interstate 78 to the traffic light for West Woodschurch Road.
- Take the jug handle and turn left onto West Woodschurch Road.
- Once on West Woodschurch follow the appropriate option below.*
*Options
1. Driving into the hive sites - Drive 1 mile in and turn left into the field through the gate.
2. Parking at the soccer fields* - turn right into Deer path by the YMCA and then follow the loop road to the parking lot for the soccer fields. Walk across West Woodschurch road to the fields where the hives are present. There is a livestock gate at the entrance of the field.
Note: Don't Forget a lawn chair if you want one.for the mentoring yard.
*Sometimes the fields are too wet to park on and we will need to park within in the Deer path Park complex and walk into the mentoring hives.
Echo Hill Directions from the Flemington Area:
- Take Route 31 north about 5.6 miles from the Flemington Circle. Make a right onto the jug handle for Stanton Station Road.
- Travel 0.4 mile to Lilac Drive.
- At Lilac Drive turn right and proceed another 0.4 mile.
- The entrance to the park will be on the right. Follow the sign to the main parking area.
Echo Hill Directions from the Clinton Area:
- Take Route 31 south about 6.2 miles from Interstate 78 to the traffic light for Stanton Station Road.
- Turn right onto Stanton Station Road and 0.4 mile to Lilac Drive
- At Lilac Drive turn right and proceed another 0.4 mile.
- The entrance to the park will be on the right. Follow the sign to the main parking area
Coming from the Flemington Circle:
- Take Route 31 North toward Clinton. Go past the main entrance light into Hunterdon Central and down the hill past the upper school. At the bottom of the hill turn right onto Junction Road.
- Proceed 1/10th of a mile and turn into the HCHS "tennis court/library" parking lot.
- Park in this lot and walk up to the corner entrance of the upper school building.
- Walk up the entry hallway and enter the cafeterial on the left about 100 yards in (not the ones on the right, the ones on the left!
From Clinton Area:
Take Route 31 South to Flemington. Turn left onto Walter Foran Blvd.
- On Walter Foran Boulevard drive .5 miles to the stoplight that intersects with Junction Road (aka R647) and turn right.
- Proceed .5 miles to HCHS "tennis court/library" parking lot on the left.
- Park in this lot and walk up to the corner entrance of the upper school building.
- Walk up the entry hallway and enter the cafeterial on the left about 100 yards in (not the ones on the right, the ones on the left!
Coming from the Flemington Area:
- Take Route 31 North 20 miles to Belvidere
- Turn left at the intersection of West Washington Avenue (Also known as Route 57)
- Drive 1.3 miles to Brass Castle Road on your Right.
- Turn Right on to Brass Castle Road and drive 5.6 Miles to County Route 519.
- Make a left onto County Route 519 and proceed 1.7 miles to Belvidere Road.
- At Belvidere Road, turn left and the library will be on your right in 2/10ths of a mile.
Note: The library is a 'house style' building in the middle of several other house style buildings that make up a relatively new looking complex. It is not a typical standalone brick or block structure as you might thing.
From the Flemington Area:
- Take Route 31 north 10.7 miles from the R202 circle to Halstead street. The Job Lot store is on the right just prior to the exit.
- Exit on Halsted street and proceed toward the town of Clinton for 1/2 mile. The library will be on your right.
From the Washington Area:
- Take Route 31 south 9.4 miles toward Clinton. When you see the Spruce Run Reservoir on keep posted for Halstead street which will be on the right as you approach Clinton.. .
- Exit right on to Halsted street and proceed toward the town of Clinton for 1/2 mile. The library will be on your right.
